ONE NIGHT ONE WELL the purpose is exactly that: in ONE NIGHT of music, videos, and demonstration people responded to the lack of clean water out in Camp Canaan and helped to raise support for ONE WELL. True Love Live is lucky to team up with Generosity Water who has been gracious to respond and continue their pursuit to give water to those who don’t have any. Before There Was True Love Live, There Was An Earthquake…
In February 2010, a group of American college students packed their bags and set forth for Haiti, only weeks after a devastating 7.0 earthquake rocked the nation’s capital, Port-au-Prince.
This group of young adults desired to serve God by helping those in need, and experienced their LORD work in inexplicable ways.
This first clip reveals the process of experiencing the devastation left by the earthquake, and documents the people that we met and relationships we formed while there.
We returned back to Haiti several weeks later, and were graciously greeted by many of the same people we met on our first trip.
This is a video of TRUE LOVE in Haiti for the second time. Since returning back to Haiti, we realized that not many things had changed.
The sad reality had set in: after months of aid work, many first-response programs were pulling their people out of Haiti or had all ready left.
In this clip you will see the faces that are still in our minds; the people we have grown to love and miss. During this trip we met with Tent City leaders and distributed food to many people who have had hardly any assistance since the day of destruction.
